HPI's annual report of dentist affiliation by (1) dental practice size, defined by the number of locations within a dental practice, and (2) dental support organization (DSO) status, regardless of practice size, is now available with 2024 data.  

The data report includes results for practice size and DSO affiliation, broken down by dentist career stage, sex, and dental specialty. Data are also available at the state level broken down by career stage. 

The latest data indicate that dentist affiliation with large group practices and DSOs continues to grow, especially among early career dentists.
